Our Policy

I choose products based on purity, quality and effectiveness. If I see a synthetic listed when reviewing an ingredients lists I don’t go any further. When I’m satisfied a product is totally pure I request samples from the manufacturer to test myself. Sometimes - if the product is really not suitable for my skin/hair type I give it to a friend or relative for their feedback.

If the product is pleasant to use and does what it says on the tin it then gets uploaded on to the Absolutely Pure website. It doesn’t matter how pure or natural the product is, if it’s not effective we won’t recommend it - you may have noticed we don’t stock complete ranges from any of our suppliers!

My selection criteria:

No synthetic ingredients.

No petroleum or paraffin.
Herbal, flower, botanical, aromatic plant matter only - preferably organically-grown or wild-harvested.

No GMOs

Cold-pressed, unrefined nut and plant oils and butters only.

No synthetic fragrances - natural aromas from essential oils only.
No synthetic preservatives - products can be preserved with antioxidants, herbal extracts and essential oils if they do not contain water.

I believe (and customers tell me) that I am stricter about ingredients than any other retailer on the web.  I disclose full ingredients for every item featured, nothing is hidden.

Please email us if you need guidance or further information.
